Terravent acquires wind farm in Pays de la Loire, France

Münich/Luzern, 16 July 2020. Terravent is expanding its onshore wind energy portfolio in Germany with the acquisition of the Le Grand Champ wind farm. The Terravent Group now has onshore wind power plants with an installed capacity of 147 MW at its disposal. Power production amounts to nearly 360 million kWh.

Terravent acquires newly commissioned Windhübel wind farm in Rheinland-Pfalz

Wörrstadt/Constance, 5 September 2019. Terravent Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Terravent AG, is expanding its onshore wind energy portfolio in Germany with the acquisition of the Windhübel wind farm. The Terravent Group now has onshore wind power plants with an installed capacity of 138 MW at its disposal. Power production amounts to over 335 million kWh.

Terravent acquires Hammelwarder Moor wind farm in Lower Saxony from Energiekontor

Bremen/Konstanz, 24 January 2019. Terravent Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Terravent AG, has signed an agreement with Bremen-based Energiekontor AG to purchase the Hammelwarder Moor wind farm. The wind farm near the town of Brake on the river Weser consists of three Senvion 3.4M 114 turbines with a total height of 176 metres, the last of which was commissioned in February 2018. With a total rated output of 10.2 MW, the expected annual yield of the wind farm is over 25 million kWh, which corresponds to the requirements of more than 7,000 households. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Terravent expands wind portfolio in Germany

Lucerne/Meissen, 13 October 2016 – The investment company Terravent AG is expanding its German onshore wind energy portfolio with the Brandenburg wind farm Lieskau III. The farm is located in the district of Elbe-Elster, about 35 kilometres southwest of Cottbus. The wind farm was developed and realised by the UKA Group. UKA will also take over operational management on behalf of Terravent through its subsidiary UKB Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen Betriebsführung. The seven wind energy plants of the type Vestas V126 are located on commercial timberland. They have tower heights of 137 metres and rotor diameters of 126 metres, as well as a nominal capacity of 3.45 megawatts each. The wind farm with a total capacity of 24.15 megawatts has been in operation since June 2016. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price.

Terravent acquires wind farm in Germany

Dietikon, 22 July 2014. The investment company Terravent AG has purchased its fifth wind farm. The facility is located in an area with favourable wind conditions in the district of Ros-tock in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern not far from the German Baltic coast. Yearly production amounts to some 60 000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity and covers the electricity consumption of 14 000 households.

Terravent is now in possession of 90 MW of installed wind power capacity in Germany and France with an annual production of 221 millions kWh.

Fourth wind farm purchased by Terravent in France

4 December 2013. The investment company Terravent purchased its fourth wind farm today. The newly built plant Eole Mont de Saint Loup, with a yearly electricity production of around 63,000 megawatt hours (MWh), is located in the French department of Ardennes in the region of Champagne-Ardenne in northeastern France. With the ten new turbines with an installed capacity of 26 MW Terravent has now a total of 70 MW of wind power available in France.

Third wind farm purchased by Terravent in France

22 January 2013. The investment company Terravent purchased its third wind farm today. The plant, with a yearly electricity production of around 58,000 megawatt hours (MWh), is located in the French department of Marne in the region of Champagne-Ardenne in northeastern France.

Terravent purchases first two wind farms

10 May 2012. The investment company Terravent bought its first two wind farms today. The plants are located in the windy hills of the French department of Aveyron in the Midi-Pyrénées region and generate nearly 40 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
