Terravent shareholders are the Swiss energy supply companies SN Energie (21.7%), Axpo Group (20.9%), ewl energie wasser luzern (ewl; 19.1%), Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich (EKZ; 17.4%), Azienda Elettrica Ticinese (AET; 12.5%) and Elektrizitätswerk des Kantons Schaffhausen AG (EKS; 8.4%).

Axpo Group

The Axpo Group with Axpo Power AG, Axpo Solutions AG, Avectris AG and Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke AG (CKW) is a Swiss energy company with strong local roots and a European profile. Axpo is wholly owned by the cantons of north-eastern Switzerland. Together with its partners, it provides power to around three million people in Switzerland. Axpo produces, distributes and sells power and trades on the international energy markets. Axpo also offers inno-vative energy services to customers in Switzerland and Europe.

SN Energie

SN Energie covers the entire power sector value chain, from production to trading, to transmission and final distribution. Together with its shareholder partners, SN Energie ensures around 25% of the electricity supply for the canton of St. Gallen and also supplies consumers in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and Zurich.

ewl energie wasser luzern

ewl energie wasser luzern is the leading energy service company in the Lucerne area. Aside from electricity, natural gas, heat and water, ewl also includes renewable energies in its range of products. Services such as energy consulting, installations, data transmission via glass fibre and WLAN round off the extensive offering.

Azienda Elettrica Ticinese

Azienda Elettrica Ticinese, a public company founded in 1958, is active in the transport of electricity in Switzerland and abroad. On behalf of the canton, it has the task of supplying the Ticino with energy at competitive prices.

Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich

Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich sells around ten percent of the electrical energy needed in Switzerland. It counts among the largest Swiss energy utilities. All total, around one million people benefit from the company’s safe, environmentally sound electricity supply and broad range of services.

Elektrizitätswerk des Kantons Schaffhausen AG

Elektrizitätswerk des Kantons Schaffhausen AG supplies around 110,000 people in the canton Schaffhausen and the neighbouring German border. Company shares are owned to 75% by the canton of Schaffhausen, to 15 % by EKT Holding AG and to 10 % by EKT itself.
